My daughter (10&half mths) has been spitting her sandwich back out for about a week. She will put some in her mouth, chew for a while, then spit it out. She has only been eating sandwich pieces for a short while, but did eat them properly to start with. She will still eat some vegie & pasta mash afterwards so I assume its not that shes not hungary. & When I offer her raison bread as a snack, she eats it fine. Could it be that we insist she has multigrain bread? Or is this simply a phase of her learning to chew etc I have read that we should offer multi grain or wholemeal always, before white. But, is white bread really so bad??? Surely a sandwich of somekind is better than none? I can't do vegie & pasta mash for the rest of her life!! LOL
